LEADERSHIP
Advisory Board
The Advisory Board consists of internationally recognised leaders and experts in business who provide guidance to the AOC, has no fiduciary responsibilities and meets twice a year.
Governing Board
The Governing Board carries fiduciary duties based on the Board Charter, guides the Executive Management.and conducts oversight over the Council business. The Non Executive Directors are appointed for a 3 –year period, renewable and the Board meets 4 times in a year.
Executive Management
The Executives manage the day to day business of AOC and are accountable to the Governing Board.
Goodwill Ambassador
The Goodwill Ambassador get nominated once every 2 years to serve as the global Ambassador to promote Africa’s Blue Economy
Patrons
AOC may from time to time wish to recognizes certain individuals as who are impactful in global affairs of sustainability, development and ocean business stewardship
